Ready, Set, Wait!

When ever she off the scene he know just where to find her
And when she outta pocket he don't hesitate to remind her!
Her mind is a rewinder she repeats and plays the same mistakes
She puts his heart and soul at stake
She is quick to argue quick to debate
The path to her soul is crooked not straight.
But he waits, waiting to create.
A love that will last, a love that is great
Cuz most of the time they can relate.
And when she on the brink of giving up he patiently awaits.
His love translates her evil words into words of welcome
His love sedates every nerve he strikes.
He knows she means well in spite of all she does he dislikes.
Love isn't easy…it’s a struggle a fight
Especially when love doesn't get the first invite.
When love is a guest that doesn't come around quite often
So when he popped up he shoulda known she would take precautions.
Hard heart, hard head.
But it still pumps blood and beeps so he knew it wasn't dead.
All the lies that was said, constantly running thru her mind
She’s tryna start afresh, hoping her vision isn’t blind.
It's kinda blurry… she's filled with worries.
And he wants her to hurry!
Pause no need to rush eternity is forever
A lifetime for us to do whatever... whenever.... however
If you play your hand rite you’d find me to be clever
I'm saying a hard maybe... not an easy never.
I think I want us to be together.
So love don’t divert, turn of twist in another direction
Keep showing me your affection
I know we've already made the connection
Just waiting for my heart to choose
It’s next move… It’s next selection.
Wherever I go, I promise not to stray to far away
I can't get you off my mind I think about you everyday.
Thru dua'a we will find a way
So keep me in your supplication
Ask Allah for protection
From the evil eye, and jealousy.
And know in me is no perfection
I'm only a woman
Who is weak and feeble
And I really need you to be a man
One who understands and isn’t quick to reprimand.
I will follow your every demand as long as we stick to God’s plan
Standing firm on the Sunnah
I'll be your helping hand
Insha Allah on the day of judgment we will receive our Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz in our right hand!
