The Battle Within

Clash and collide.
Ride and strive.
I’m at war with myself.
Good vs. evil
Truth vs. lies
Right vs. wrong.
This war is at it’s height inside of my mind.
The devil wastes no time
Trying to get me to surrender.
But I will continue to fight for my soul
As long as my blood runs through my veins
As long as I have the ability to with strain.
And abstain from foolish actions.
The choice is mines.
Yet every choice awaits a greater reaction.
See you can reap a reward worth double its fraction.
Or you can be punished for not re-acting.
So don’t under react over react if you have to.
Watch your back even when you’re backed against a wall
See through them little spaces the devil can come in and crawl.
So stand ready to withdraw never put your guard down
If you want to taste the fruits of the garden
You got to be prepared now.
And you can never over prepare or pack to much ammunition
When you’re on a mission or a journey worth greater then any destination in this world.
Discover hidden jewels as they gleam to show you the way in the darkest of night
Don’t ignore your guide your heart is the map of your conquest.
Don’t relax for to long victory comes to those who are patient
Just know the battle within is real and the consequences if lost.
Is one you cannot bare to withstand.
And even when it hurts you have to stand up.
Have faith in times of joy and pain
Know that the burden isn’t placed upon you greater than you can bare.
So dare to not fear the enemy because he will continue to challenge your soul
And sometimes when you feel you’re at your peak
And you begin to feel weak, know that’s when you’re winning the battle.
