Dear America

I realize I talk a lot about nothing
I don’t act as much as I should
I make a lot of excuses for myself.
And still you look up to me.
But I’m not who they pipe me up to be.
And it isn’t fair that you take me as a role model
When times get hard, I roll that’s my motto.
Never standing up for what I believe
Just taking advantage of your hope.
Like a drug dealer serving dope.
I give you just enough to keep you hooked.
And I know what I’m doing is wrong but I’m into deep.
See if I backed out now they would call me a coward
See I’m really not in power I’m just a face of a dream that we all been visioning for to long
And we all know that when you dream something for so long over and over again
You begin to find it hard to distinguish reality from fantasy.
Or imagination, see how can one person rule this turmoil nation.
How can I make a change when selling all types of wars and discord make me so much change?
If you thought I wasn’t affected by the root to all evil.
You were naive to juvenile and immature to believe,
That this was all a set up .
And I know the truth hurts I find it hard to accept myself
More power more wealth, I’m beginning to loose myself.
And I know in the mist of all my lies
Lies a pile of broken hearts, tanks un fueled, ammunition on low
To ready and willing to fight for what you don’t know.
Well know that I am only human and I make mistakes.
I’m just sorry if my mistakes left you all at stake
I wasn’t ready for this relationship
I’m not fit for the position or mission but in all honesty I don’t know anyone who is.
So don’t blame me because that’s what they want you to do
Just know that I was made up to be something I couldn’t possibly be
The shoes needed filling and I was to ready and willing
But I couldn’t fit them no matter how much I stuffed them with hope, the job was to complex.
Read between the lines the government has and always will be corrupt.
It doesn’t matter if the head of state is black, white, democrat or republican
Politics don’t judge than. And I’m sorry for so much I don’t know where to begin.
But I don’t see an ending to this horrid nightmare that leaves me stuck in between
A rock and a hard place, I find it hard to face.
The faces of millions who believed me
I didn’t intentionally deceive any of you
I just don’t know how to make your dream come true.
And don’t think it’s not something I don't want to do.
Just know I’m not the bad guy
And I can give you a million reasons why
But I would be lying if I said I tried my best.
And even if I did it would be too late for the souls already put to rest.
I’m so stressed because of my foolishness
So I stand before you with my deepest sincerest apology
Because at the least you deserve that.
And I don’t know if it matters but I am waiting as you, for that change to come.

The Battle Within

Clash and collide.
Ride and strive.
I’m at war with myself.
Good vs. evil
Truth vs. lies
Right vs. wrong.
This war is at it’s height inside of my mind.
The devil wastes no time
Trying to get me to surrender.
But I will continue to fight for my soul
As long as my blood runs through my veins
As long as I have the ability to with strain.
And abstain from foolish actions.
The choice is mines.
Yet every choice awaits a greater reaction.
See you can reap a reward worth double its fraction.
Or you can be punished for not re-acting.
So don’t under react over react if you have to.
Watch your back even when you’re backed against a wall
See through them little spaces the devil can come in and crawl.
So stand ready to withdraw never put your guard down
If you want to taste the fruits of the garden
You got to be prepared now.
And you can never over prepare or pack to much ammunition
When you’re on a mission or a journey worth greater then any destination in this world.
Discover hidden jewels as they gleam to show you the way in the darkest of night
Don’t ignore your guide your heart is the map of your conquest.
Don’t relax for to long victory comes to those who are patient
Just know the battle within is real and the consequences if lost.
Is one you cannot bare to withstand.
And even when it hurts you have to stand up.
Have faith in times of joy and pain
Know that the burden isn’t placed upon you greater than you can bare.
So dare to not fear the enemy because he will continue to challenge your soul
And sometimes when you feel you’re at your peak
And you begin to feel weak, know that’s when you’re winning the battle.

Rain Dance

Raindrops, the joy of the summer
Listening to the beat of their dance as it hits my window pane
The simple joys and pleasures of life are priceless.
As the wind whispers sweet songs of comfort
Its melodies melt away my sense of security
As it switches directions quicker than the speed of light.
Lightening flashing on and off
At any moment one can get lost in its display of excitement.
Thunder is the boom box of the seasons
Striking at the last of expecting moments
Clouds change from one mood to another
Depending on who is accompanying her
Then at last when all the fun is done
The sun takes its spot back on center stage.

The Power Of Dua

Al Haafidh ibn Rajab mentioned in the commentary of the tabiqaat of Al Hanaabila (196/1) in the biography of Al Qaadi Abi Bakr Muhammad Abdul Al Baaqi Al Bazzaz who died in the year 535 from the migration of the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessing be upon him. Sheik Saalih Abu Al Qaasim Al Khazaz Al Bagdadi said, “I heard Al Qaadi Abi Bakr ... See MoreMuhammad Abdul Al Baaqi Al Bazzaz Al Ansaari say”…

I used to live in the vicinity of Mecca, may ALLAH the Exalted protect it, so one day I was stricken with severe hunger and I did not find anything to fight against this hunger. So I found a bag made from silk, tied with a tassel that was also made from silk, so I grabbed it and took it to my house. When I unfasten it I found in it a necklace made from pearl such that I had not seen the like of it before. So when I exited my house I saw an old man that was seeking this bag. With him was a torn rag containing five hundred dinar and he was saying, “This is for the one who returns to me the bag containing the pearls.” So I said, “I am in need, I am hungry, so I will take this money and benefit from it and return to him the bag”. So I said to him, “Come to me”, so I took him and brought him to my home. So he gave me the description of the bag, and the description of the tassel, and the description of the pearls along with their number, and the description of the thread that fasten it. So I removed it from the bag and gave it to him, so he gave me the five hundred dinar, but I did not take it. Then I said to him, “It is incumbent upon me to return this to you and I will not take any reward for it.” He said to me, “You must take it”, and he persisted in this, but I would not take it from him so he left me and went about his way.

As for me, I didn’t have anything so I left Mecca and began sailing in the sea. So the ship tore apart and everyone aboard it drowned and their wealth was destroyed. I was saved by holding onto a piece of the ship. So I remained for a time period in the sea not knowing where I was going. I then arrived at an island that was inhabited by people. I sat in some of the masjids and the people heard me reading, and there did not remain anyone on the island except that he came to me and said, “Teach me the Koran”, so I acquired from the people a lot of wealth. Then I saw in the masjid some paper from a Mushaf, so I took it and began to read it. They said to me, “Do you have good handwriting?” I said yes. So they said, “Teach me handwriting”. So they came to me with their children from amongst the small kids and the young men and I used to teach them. I acquired from this also, a lot of wealth.

After this they said to me, “We have a young orphan girl who has some things from the dunya, (worldly wealth) we would like for you to marry her. I refused, but they said, “It is a must!” And they made this incumbent upon me, so I agreed. After they married her to me, I turned my glance toward her and I found that exact same necklace hanging around her neck! At this time I did not busy myself with anything except staring at this necklace. So they said to me, “Oh Sheik! You have broken this young orphan girl’s heart by looking at this necklace, and you have not even looked at her. So I relayed to them the story of the necklace. So they screamed and yelled out, “There is no deity worthy of worship except ALLAH, ALLAHU AKBAR, until it reached everyone on the island. So I said, “What is with you?” They said, “The old man that took the necklace from you is the father of this young girl.” He used to say, “I have not found in the dunya (world) a Muslim (what is meant here is a trustworthy, kindhearted, one who knows the rights of found property) except the one who returned to me this necklace.” And he used to make dua (supplication) saying, “Oh ALLAH, join me and him together so that I may marry him to my daughter”, and now it has happened. So I remained with her for a time period and I was provided with two sons by her. Then she passed away, so I inherited the necklace, me and my two sons. Then my two sons died, therefore the necklace became mine. So I sold the necklace for one hundred thousand dinar, and the money that you see me with now is what is left over from that money.

The Big Move

Don’t love me in return as if loving me is an option
As if you’re doing me a favor, by telling them I’m your favorite.
Save it, I don’t want to hear it
I loved you whole heartedly, mind, body and spirit.
Still you didn’t cherish each moment we spent together
You were so sure that there would be many more.
See once your love was adored
But now your love gets ignored
Because my heart can’t afford to take another loss.
You used to be so different.
Now you’ve changed.
It’s as if you have multiple personalities
Your thinking your ideology doesn’t reflect nor add up to my reality.
We used to share the same dreams
Now your just plain mean
And for every failure you blame me.
I get it you made the picture so clear to see.
Its over don’t even act like you care
Or dare to comfort me
I’m in no need of your fake sympathy
It only makes this harder.
See I know actions speak louder then words
I know what your intent was because your actions were heard.
They told me more than you could ever explain.
Their the reasons for my pain
And you nearly driving me insane.
I tried so hard to be the best of both worlds
But it was impossible
And now that I reflect on your requests
I don’t even think they were half logical
It’s hard being alone
But you always had your way of making me feel lonely
Your presence had became a burden
To wrapped up in being in the spotlight
Why me, id rather be behind the curtains.
See the show must go on
And even though I love you so
My love has to move on.

Grandmom

If I could turn back the hands of time
My grandma would still be here with me.
I would visit her on a daily basis and tell her that I loved her more often.
She would know she didn’t sacrifice her youth in vain
Me and my siblings damn near drove her crazy still she never complained.
Swallowed her tears never expressed any pain.
She bared those chest pains I wonder if she cried in the dark
Never seen tears stream down her pretty face she had so much heart
When the news reached she had cancer she didn’t cry she smiled
Had me fooled I thought everything was gonna be okay
To in denial of the fact that she could die any day.
My grandma went thru chemo therapy and rocked a baldy with style
My young mind remained lost in the picture as I walked in on my granny reading scripture
She said child cancer isn’t a joke and this insulin is expensive on top of that were broke.
So you mean to tell me we have to choose between the lights being on and the cost of medicine
You see the cost of living is high n if granny don’t take her prescription granny is likely to die.
Stress on top of cancer not a good combination
After a year on chemo therapy I watched powerless as the cancer subdued my grandma’s body
Turning her full figured frame into an almost unrecognizable size
Only way I knew it was her was by the dignity in her eyes
Still soft and kind remnants of her smile shown through undisguised
The light of her voice still strong to my surprise
She told me what she wanted to be buried in
And how no matter what she wanted me and my sisters to stay together.
At a lost of words I blurted grandma your gonna get better
I know its raining now but you’ve made it through worst weather
You lost your husband to gane green, you lost a daughter to the streets so this struggle with cancer should be easy to defeat don’t give up and retreat I couldn’t find the words to speak so I mumbled I LOVE YOU
Just the thought of my beloved departing made me ask God why
She don’t deserve to die like this she never got to enjoy her golden years
Then I realized the only thing that she held to be golden
Was her grandchildren and we meant the world to her so in reality
She treasured us more then she valued living an easy life
So it hurts to say but she died doing what she loved
And that was caring for us
So I pray that her reward lies in His Hands who is above

I loved my grandma I know she knows that in spite of how ungrateful I appeared to be
If it wasn’t for Mary I wouldn’t be me. I couldn’t have had a better keeper I’m so thankful for her. Without her in my life she was my direction surely I would have been lost. She taught me so many things and she was the most loving kind person I have ever met!

Description of ‘Ali that Made Mu`awiyah Weep

Description of ‘Ali that Made Mu`awiyah Weep

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Asalaamu Alaiakum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu

Description of ‘Ali that Made Mu`awiyah Weep

After Ali died , Mu`awiyah bin Abi Sufyan said to Dirar bin Damrah

“Describe ‘Ali to me.”

“Will you not excuse me from answering you,” said Dirar.

“No, describe him,” insisted Mu`awiyah.

“Please excuse me from doing so,” said Dirar.

“I will not,” said Mu`awiyah.

” I will do so, then” said Dirar with a sigh.

“By Allah, he was (far-sighted) and very strong. He spoke with a truthful finality, so that, through him , truth became distinguished from falsehood. He ruled justly, and knowledge gushed forth from him, as did wisdom. He felt an aversion to the world and its (pleasure). He was comfortable with the night and its darkness ( meaning he prayed a lot). By Allah he would cry profusely ( from fear of Allah); long durations would he spend in contemplation, during which time he would converse with his soul. He showed a liking to coarse garments and lower-quality food. By Allah, it was as if – in his humbleness- he was one of us: when we asked him a question, he would answer us; when we would go to him, he would initiate (the Salam); and when we would invite him (to our homes), he would come to us . Yet, in spite of his closeness to us, we would not speak (freely) with him, because of the dignity and honor that he exuded if he smiled, he revealed the likes of straight and regular pearls (his teeth). He honored religious people and loved the poor. The strong person could not hope to gain favors from him through falsehood. And the weak person never lost hope of his justness. I swear, by Allah, that on certain occasions, I saw him in his place of prayer when the night was dark and few stars could be seen; he would be holding his beard and crying the way a very sad person cries; and I would hear him saying,

“O world, O world, are you offering yourself to me? Do you desire me? Never! Never! Deceive someone other than me, I have divorced you for the third time, so that you cannot return to me (metaphorically, of course; he is alluding to the fact that, in islam, the third divorce is final) your life is short, the existence you offer is base, and your danger is great. Alas for the scarcity of sustenance (good deeds), the great distance of the journey, and the loneliness of the road!”

Upon hearing this description, Mu`awiyah’s eyes swelled with tears, and not being able to hold them from gushing forth, he was forced to wipe them with his cuffs; and the same can be said for those who were present. Mu`awiyah then said, “May Allah have mercy on the father of Al-Hasan, for he was, by Allah, just as you described him to be. “

He then said, “O Dirar, describe your sadness at having lost him.”

“My sadness” began Dirar “is like the sadness of a woman who cannot control her tears or allay her grief after her child , while in her lap, has just been slaughtered.”

Dirar then stood up and left.

Note: Ali ibn Abi Talib was the Prophet's cousin, son-in-law and the fourth Caliph after Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman. He was also amongst the ten companions who were promised Jannah. Muawiyah was also a noble companion of the Prophet (Salalahu Alayhi wa Salam) and was also the fifth Caliph, after Ali.

May Allah be pleased with them all! ameen

Rastafaric Faith Lesson 5

Afrocentrism and Black Pride
Afrocentrism is another central facet of the Rastafari culture. They teach that Africa, in particular Ethiopia, is where Zion, or paradise, shall be created. As such, Rastafari orients itself around African culture.

Rastafari holds that evil society, or "Babylon" has always been white-dominated, and has committed such acts of aggression against the African people as the Atlantic slave trade. Despite this Afrocentrism and focus on people of the black race, members of other races, including whites, are found and accepted by Blacks among the movement, for they believe Rasta is for all people.[citation needed]

Rastafari developed among poor Jamaicans of African descent who felt they were oppressed and that society was apathetic to their problems. Marcus Garvey, who is viewed as a prophet of Jah, was a keen proponent of the "back to Africa" movement, advocating that all people of the black race should return to their ancestral homeland of Africa.

Many early Rastas for a time believed in black supremacy. Widespread advocacy of this belief was short-lived, at least partly because of[citation needed] Haile Selassie's explicit condemnation of racism in an October 1963 speech before the United Nations. Most Rastas now espouse the doctrine that racial animosities must be set aside, with world peace and harmony being common themes. One of the three major modern houses of Rastafari—the Twelve Tribes of Israel—has specifically condemned all types of racism, and declared that the teachings of the Bible are the route to spiritual liberation for people of any racial or ethnic background. During his famous UN address (which provided the lyrics for the Carlton Barrett and Bob Marley song "War"), Haile Selassie made the following statement:

"Last May, in Addis Ababa, I convened a meeting of Heads of African States and Governments. In three days, the thirty-two nations represented at that Conference demonstrated to the world that when the will and the determination exist, nations and peoples of diverse backgrounds can and will work together. In unity, to the achievement of common goals and the assurance of that equality and brotherhood which we desire. On the question of racial discrimination, the Addis Ababa Conference taught, to those who will learn, this further lesson: That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; That until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation; That until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race; That until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained; And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique and in South Africa in subhuman bondage have been toppled and destroyed; Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understanding and tolerance and good-will; Until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, equal in the eyes of all men, as they are in the eyes of Heaven; Until that day, the African continent will not know peace. We Africans will fight, if necessary, and we know that we shall win, as we are confident in the victory of good over evil."

He concluded this speech with the words, "We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community."

Some Rastafari learn Amharic, which some consider to be the original language, both because this was the language of Haile Selassie I, and in order to further their identity as Ethiopian. There are reggae songs written in Amharic.

[edit] Scripture
Rastafari is a strongly syncretic Abrahamic religion that draws extensively from the Bible. Adherents look particularly to the New Testament Book of Revelation, as this is where they find the prophecies about the divinity of Haile Selassie. Rastas claim that they, and the rest of the black race, are descendants of the ancient twelve tribes of Israel, cast into captivity outside Africa as a result of the slave trade.

Some Rastafari assert that only half of the Bible has been written, and that the other half, stolen from them along with their culture, is written in a man's heart.[citation needed] This concept also embraces the idea that even the illiterate can be Rastas by reading God's Word in their hearts. Rastas also see the lost half of the Bible, and the whole of their lost culture, to be found in the Ark of the Covenant, a repository of African wisdom, which is allegedly located in Ethiopia.

A great interest in the Amharic Orthodox version of the Bible, authorized by Haile Selassie I in the 1950s, has arisen among Rastas. Selassie himself wrote in the preface to this version that "unless [one] accepts with clear conscience the Bible and its great Message, he cannot hope for salvation," thus confirming and coinciding with what the Rastafari themselves had been preaching since the beginning of the movement.[13]

The Kebra Nagast, the national epic of Ethiopia, is also taken as important amongst many Rastas. The Kebra Negast is an African folk bible describing, in greater detail than the King James version, the relationship between King Solomon and Queen of Sheba.

[edit] Ceremonies
There are two types of Rasta religious ceremonies: Reasoning and Groundation.

Reasoning
A "reasoning" is a simple event where the Rastas gather, smoke cannabis ("ganja"), and discuss ethical, social, and religious issues. The person honored by being allowed to light the herb says a short prayer beforehand, and the ganja is passed in a clockwise fashion except in time of war when it is passed counterclockwise.

Groundation
A "groundation" (or "grounation") or "binghi" is a holy day;[14] the name "binghi" is derived from "Nyabinghi", believed to be an ancient, and now extinct, order of militant blacks in eastern Africa that vowed to end oppression. Binghis are marked by much dancing, singing, feasting, and the smoking of ganja, and can last for several days.

In public gatherings, Rastafari often say the following standard prayer, with several variants, comparable to the Lord's Prayer:

"Princes and princesses shall come forth out of Egypt, Ethiopia now stretch forth her hands before JAH. O Thou God of Ethiopia, Thou God of Thy Divine Majesty, Thy Spirit come into our hearts, to dwell in the paths of righteousness. Lead and help InI to forgive, that InI may be forgiven. Teach InI Love and loyalty on earth as it is in Zion, Endow us with Thy wisemind, knowledge and Overstanding to do thy will, thy blessings to us, that the hungry might be fed, the sick nourished, the aged protected, the naked clothed and the infants cared for. Deliver InI from the hands of our enemy, that InI may prove fruitful in these Last Days, when our enemy have passed and decayed in the depths of the sea, in the depths of the earth, or in the belly of a beast. O give us a place in Thy Kingdom forever and ever, so we hail our God JAH Selassie I, Jehovah God, Rastafari, Almighty God, Rastafari, great and powerful God JAH, Rastafari. Who sitteth and reigneth in the heart of man and woman, hear us and bless us and sanctify us, and cause Thy loving Face to shine upon us thy children, that we may be saved, SELAH."
When lighting a chalice, the following, shorter invocation is often used: "Glory be to the Father and to the Maker of Iration, as it were in the Iginning, is now an shall be foriva, world without end, SELAH."

Some important dates when groundations may take place are:

January 7 – Oriental Orthodox Christmas
March 25 - The birthday of Empress Menen
April 21 – The anniversary of Haile Selassie's visit to Jamaica. Also known as Grounation Day.
May 25 - African Liberation Day
July 23 – The birthday of Emperor Haile Selassie
August 17 – The birthday of Marcus Garvey
September 11 – Ethiopian New Year
November 2 – The coronation of Haile Selassie
[edit] Places of worship

Haile Selassie IGenerally, Rastas assert that their own body is the true church or temple of God, and so see no need to make temples or churches out of physical buildings. However, some Rastafarians have created temples, as some call spiritual meeting centers in international communities with large Rastafarian populations.

[edit] Sects and Subdivisions
Main article: Mansions of Rastafari
There are three main sects or orders of Rastafari today: the Nyahbinghi Order, Bobo Ashanti and the Twelve Tribes of Israel. All agree on the basic principles of the divine status of Haile Selassie and the importance of black images of divinity. Many Rastafari do not belong to any sect and the movement as a whole is loosely defined and organized.

[edit] Nyahbinghi Order
The Nyahbinghi Order (also known as Haile Selassie I Theocratical Order of the Nyahbinghi Reign) is named for Queen Nyahbinghi of Uganda, who fought against colonialists in the 19th century. The Nyahbinghi Order holds steadfast to ancient biblical values. They consume nothing that harms their body[clarification needed] because the body is the temple and the temple the church. The Nyahbinghi Order is a non-violent order that calls upon God's power to execute judgement upon all black and white "downpressors" (oppressors). This is the oldest of the orders[citation needed] and it focuses mainly on Haile Selassie, Ethiopia, and the eventual return to Africa. It is overseen by an Assembly of Elders.

[edit] Bobo Ashanti
Bobo Ashanti was founded by Prince Emanuel Charles Edwards in Jamaica in the 1950s. "Bobo" means black and "Shanti" refers to the Ashanti tribe in Ghana, from which this sect believes Jamaican slaves are descended. Members of Bobo Shanti are also known as Bobo Dreads.

In belief, Bobo Dreads are distinguished by their worship of Prince Emmanuel (in addition to Haile Selassie) as a reincarnation of Christ and embodiment of Jah; their emphasis on the return to Africa ("repatriation"); and their demands for monetary reimbursement for slavery.

Members of the Bobo Ashanti order wear long robes and tightly wrapped turbans around their dreads. They adhere closely to the Jewish Law, including the observance of the Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday and hygiene laws for menstruating women. They live separately from Jamaican society and other Rastafarians, growing their own produce and selling straw hats and brooms. They often carry brooms with them to symbolize their cleanliness.

[edit] Twelve Tribes of Israel
The Twelve Tribes of Israel sect was founded in 1968 by Dr. Vernon "Prophet Gad" Carrington. It is the most liberal of the Rastafarian orders and members are free to worship in a church of their choosing. Each member of this sect belongs to one of the 12 Tribes (or Houses), which is determined by birth month and is represented by a color. The Standard Israelite calendar begins in April. Bob Marley was from the tribe of Joseph, and Haile Selassie from the tribe of Judah.

The flag of Ethiopia as was used during Selassie's reign. It combines the conquering lion of Judah, symbol of the Ethiopian monarchy, with green, yellow, and red, which would later be adopted by many African nations, becoming pan-African colors.[edit] Lion
The Lion is a symbol of Haile Selassie. Jesus Christ is described as "the Lion of Judah" in the Bible, and for this reason, Haile Selassie is seen as the reincarnation of Jesus. However, in the Nyabinghi order and the Bobo Shanti sub-division, the Lion of Judah is seen as a symbol of God or Jah, therefore Haile Selassie I is seen as God or Jah.

Ready, Set, Wait!

When ever she off the scene he know just where to find her
And when she outta pocket he don't hesitate to remind her!
Her mind is a rewinder she repeats and plays the same mistakes
She puts his heart and soul at stake
She is quick to argue quick to debate
The path to her soul is crooked not straight.
But he waits, waiting to create.
A love that will last, a love that is great
Cuz most of the time they can relate.
And when she on the brink of giving up he patiently awaits.
His love translates her evil words into words of welcome
His love sedates every nerve he strikes.
He knows she means well in spite of all she does he dislikes.
Love isn't easy…it’s a struggle a fight
Especially when love doesn't get the first invite.
When love is a guest that doesn't come around quite often
So when he popped up he shoulda known she would take precautions.
Hard heart, hard head.
But it still pumps blood and beeps so he knew it wasn't dead.
All the lies that was said, constantly running thru her mind
She’s tryna start afresh, hoping her vision isn’t blind.
It's kinda blurry… she's filled with worries.
And he wants her to hurry!
Pause no need to rush eternity is forever
A lifetime for us to do whatever... whenever.... however
If you play your hand rite you’d find me to be clever
I'm saying a hard maybe... not an easy never.
I think I want us to be together.
So love don’t divert, turn of twist in another direction
Keep showing me your affection
I know we've already made the connection
Just waiting for my heart to choose
It’s next move… It’s next selection.
Wherever I go, I promise not to stray to far away
I can't get you off my mind I think about you everyday.
Thru dua'a we will find a way
So keep me in your supplication
Ask Allah for protection
From the evil eye, and jealousy.
And know in me is no perfection
I'm only a woman
Who is weak and feeble
And I really need you to be a man
One who understands and isn’t quick to reprimand.
I will follow your every demand as long as we stick to God’s plan
Standing firm on the Sunnah
I'll be your helping hand
Insha Allah on the day of judgment we will receive our Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz in our right hand!
