Raindrops, the joy of the summer
Listening to the beat of their dance as it hits my window pane
The simple joys and pleasures of life are priceless.
As the wind whispers sweet songs of comfort Its melodies melt away my sense of security
As it switches directions quicker than the speed of light.
Lightening flashing on and off At any moment one can get lost in its display of excitement.
Thunder is the boom box of the seasons
Striking at the last of expecting moments
Clouds change from one mood to another
Depending on who is accompanying her
Then at last when all the fun is done
The sun takes its spot back on center stage.
