Mothers come before spouse!

At the time of the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam), there was a young man named Alqamah. He was very diligent in obeying Allah by engaging in prayer and fasting and spending in charity.
Then one day, he fell ill and his illness became serious. His wife went to the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) and said, "My husband, Alqamah, is on his deathbed. I therefore came to tell you, Messenger of Allah, about his condition."
The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) (then) sent for Ammar or Suhaib and Bilal (radiAllahu anhum), and told them to go to him (Alqamah) and have him repeat the Shahadah. Thereupon they went to him and found him in the agony of death. They asked him to say, "La illaha illa Allah," but his tongue was unable to pronounce it. At that, they came and told the Messenger of Allah that he was unable to repeat the Shahadah.
The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) asked, "Is either of his parents alive?"
He was told, "Messenger of Allah, his mother is, but she is very old." The Prophet sent her a message that if it was convenient for her (that is, is she was able to go out), she should come to him; otherwise she should stay in her house and the Prophet would come to her.
The Prophet's messenger came to her and informed her of the Prophet's message.
She said, "May my life be a ransom for him, it is my pleasure to go to him!"
She then stood up, leaning on her walking stick, and came to the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) and greeted him. The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) returned her greeting and said to her, "Umm Alqamah, tell me the truth, for otherwise Allah Most High will reveal the truth to me! What is the situation concerning your son, Alqamah?"
She replied, "Messenger of Allah, he prays much, fasts a great deal, and spends a great amount in charity."
"And what about yourself?," asked the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam)
"Messenger of Allah, I am angry with him," she said
"Why?," asked the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam)
"Messenger of Allah, he has preferred his wife to me and has disobeyed me." Then Allah's Messenger said, "Umm Alqamah, surely your anger has prevented Alqamah's tongue from pronouncing the Shahadah."
He then turned to Bilal and said, "Bilal, go out and collect a quantity of firewood." "Messenger of Allah, what do you plan to do?, asked Umm Alqamah
He replied, "I will burn him in front of your eyes."
"Messenger of Allah, he is my son! My heart cannot bear your burning him in front of me!," exclaimed Umm Alqamah "Umm Alqamah, Allah's punishment is more severe and more lasting! Therefore, if you want Allah to forgive him, be reconciled to him. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the prayer, fasting, and spending in charity (which he has done) are of no benefit to Alqamah as long as you are angry with him!," replied the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam).
Thereupon she said, "Messenger of Allah, I call upon Allah Most High and His angels and the Muslims who are present to be my witnesses that I am pleased with my son Alqamah."
Allah's Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Bilal, go to him and see whether he is now able to say, "La illaha illa Allah" or not. It may be that Umm Alqamah is saying something for my sake which is not in her heart."
Thereupon Bilal went, and while entering the door he heard Alqamah saying, "La illaha illa Allah." (Concerning this), Bilal remarked, "It is surely true that while Alqamah's mother was angry with him his tongue was tied, and now that she is pleased with him his tongue is freed."

Alqamah died the same day. The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) came to him and gave the order for his washing and shrouding, and then prayed the funeral prayer for him and buried him.
He then stood by the side of his grave and said, "You company of Muhajireen and Helpers, if anyone favors his wife over his mother, Allah and His angels and all the people curse him! Allah does not accept his spending (in charity) and his uprightness unless he repents toward Allah, the Glorious and Majestic, and reconciles with her and attains her pleasure, because Allah's pleasure consists in her pleasure and Allah's anger consists in her anger."

Satan's Deception

Gotta make it to heaven
Cuz we living in hell
Under shaytawn’s spell
It’s hard to excel
It’s easy to fail
The devil will sale your soul like retail
Leave out the details
He makes this world seem so alluring
The stories that he tell is worth much exploring
This life is rather boring
Don’t spend your whole life adorning
In the end you’ll be mourning
Praying to see another morning

I know I get deep sista soulja like to preach
I hope that my stories will teach
All the hearts that it reach
So many souls he beseeched
He needs to be impeached
But his help we still seek
And it only leads to defeat.

So don’t be fooled
By the diamonds and the jewels
Your soul you can rule
Pick a new teacher, a better school
I gotta thing or two im tryna teach you sumthin new
Your soul can be renewed
If only you knew
The lies that he spew
Leave now here’s your que
It’s satan’s deception
Put your life in a new direction
We all far from perfection
Say a supplication
Pray for protection
In the end he will be punished
On the day of ressurection

But...Think Again (a poem)

What am I suppose to do without you
What can I say to make you stay?
If you want to leave me that’s fine you’ll probably only waste my time
I know this has to end but where do we begin
Stay a little longer, maybe our love will grow stronger
I want you I hate you, I need to… to leave you
I got to get a breath of fresh air
You lit my heart on fire and you don’t even care
The flames are blinding my vision
This smoke suffocates my soul
You’re pulling me in every way
You’re tearing me apart
I really want you to go
But I think you should stay
I know I sound crazy who made the rules to how you play
The word games you say
Blame me for everything
I know im not the same
I’ve changed more then my name
But if you stay I’ll love you
I’ll hold you until you leave
Because of you I’ll always wear my heart on my sleeve
When did this begin and when will this end
The pain I cause myself
I can’t blame no one but myself
You don’t even like me
Lately we fight over everything
Passionate lovers is what I’d like to believe
Bickering and quarrelling I don’t like it stop please.
But if you stay I’ll be here until the end
My friends can think what they want but you…I’ll always defend.
We can play pretend
Like you don’t care I still want you here
You start and stop my tears
Your relive me of my fears
I’ve known you for years
I know you have to care.
But if you stay you’ll hurt me
Its best you should leave
I know at first I’ll hate you for walking through that door
And not loving me anymore
But if you leave it will be the best thing you’ve ever done for me.

The Straight Path

This path I walk alone, I walk it on my own
This road will lead to success.
Its not easy, there will be some test.
Some trials and tribulations. He’ll test us all not just one nation.
I got troops at my stations.
Guarding against frustrations.
I know its best to show patience
I put my trust in my Lord.
When things don’t go my way
All I can do is pray
There will be brighter days
As long as I don’t go astray.
I fear the day no money can we pay
Only good deeds count
Repentance is a discount
It might erase some bad deeds
But we still must take heed
Im telling you indeed the orphans you should feed.
It may save you from the fire
This is not my advice its from a source much higher
Fight your desire, until you get tired
Never stop checking yourself
And giving up your wealth.
You never know when your body will be called to retire
Every day you live you take a breath closer to the final hour
Cowards don’t belive in His power
But its been promised .
All of you will soon see the truth
We already been sent down the proof
The final messenger came already
And we still act like we not ready.
When will His words touch our hearts
Have we all fell apart.
Im ready lets start
Staying focused on the hereafter
So never stop writing your book, just look forward to the final chapter.

Sincerely your servant Aisha Umm Maryam…………

Love is strange (a short poem)

I’ve made some mistakes before
And I’m guaranteed to make more
But don’t you ever think for a second your love is not adored
See your love is my poison and it also happens to be my cure.
Tell me why when you’re with her, my love seems to get ignored
Then, when you’re alone at night you beg for my company
How could this be, I thought you said you stopped loving me.
This is a painful game my body hurts all over
I wish we could start over, your love it keeps me sober
But I fear you’re killing me…….to be continued.

Striving Muslimah

Love yourself and everything is gonna be all-rite!
